After more than a month away from the race track, Unitronic JDC-Miller MotorSports drivers Mikey Taylor and Chris Miller will be looking to repeat their strong performance from last year at the Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca this week!

Grabbing pole position and finishing fourth place in 2021, the team knows they have the speed to win in 2022 but will need to limit mistakes and execute perfectly in order to take on the challenging TCR field. The third round of the 2022 IMSA Michelin Pilot Championship will take place in the beautiful hillside of the Northern California Salinas Valley, the only west coast round for the championship. Coming off a positive 3rd place finish at the previous event in Sebring, FL the #17 entry will look to continue their climb up the championship ranks after an unfortunate start to the season in Daytona.

“I’m really looking forward to this event, it’s always a fantastic weekend for our team and the guests that join us! We showed the speed we have at Sebring and we were fast at Laguna last year, so there is no reason we cannot go out there and win it. TCR has been a very physical class in the first two rounds, with us getting taken out of the lead on the last lap in Sebring, so it will be interesting to see if race control can enforce the rules, or if it will once again be a physical fight to the end.” said a fired up Taylor.
